Min Yu joined Nxera in May 2022 as Senior Director of Engineering and was promoted to Head of Singapore Data Centre Development & Engineering in January 2024. With over 25 years of experience in building services, operations, and engineering design within the data centre industry, Min Yu played a key role in establishing Nxera’s engineering team in Singapore. Under his leadership, the team progressively built expertise in data centre engineering design, project management, and sustainability to support the DC Tuas project.

In January 2025, Min Yu was appointed Chief Development and Engineering Officer, a testament to his exceptional leadership and the significant impact he has made. He also spearheaded initiatives to explore and adopt new technologies aimed at improving power usage effectiveness (PUE) and water usage effectiveness (WUE), aligning with Nxera’s mission to develop the next generation of sustainable, AI-ready data centres across the region.

Before joining Nxera, Min Yu held senior roles in multiple multinational companies, including Vice President for Engineering at JP Morgan and Senior Director for Operations at Bridge Data Centre. During his tenure at JP Morgan, he successfully delivered several data centre projects across Singapore and Asia, including Japan, China, and Indonesia.

Min Yu holds a Bachelor of Property Economics from the University of Technology Sydney and is a trained mechanical engineer.
